Privacy Policy

Keyword Brief is operated by Park Moonnam, Republic of Korea. You can try it without an account, and signing in is optional and passwordless. We collect very little; this page says exactly what.

What we process

• Keywords you enter. Sent to our data providers to produce your result (see below). We do not store them in a database or tie them to your identity.
• Your account, if you sign in. When you choose “Continue with Google” we receive your email address, name, and profile picture from Google. We store your email and name, how many free checks you have used, and your license details if you subscribe. We never see or store your Google password, and we don’t read anything else in your Google account.
• Cookies. A handful of functional cookies, all first-party and signed: your sign-in session, a counter for free checks, and a short-lived token that links a check to its brief. No advertising or tracking cookies.
• Abuse prevention. For visitors who aren’t signed in, we keep a per-day count of free checks by IP address. It expires after 24 hours.
• Page-view statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It sets no cookies and does not identify or follow individual visitors.
• Server logs. Our host keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, URL) for security and debugging, for a limited period.
• Purchases. If you buy Pro, Gumroad collects your email, payment details, and billing country as merchant of record. We receive your email and order status from them, never your card details.

Who processes data for us

• DataForSEO: receives the keyword to return search metrics and Google results.
• Anthropic: receives the keyword and the public page headings to draft the outline.
• Google: sign-in, only if you choose to use it.
• Upstash: database that stores account records and the short-lived abuse counters.
• Vercel: hosts the website and provides the cookie-less page-view statistics.
• Gumroad: checkout, subscriptions, license keys, and tax.

Don’t enter personal or confidential information as a keyword.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell data, run ad trackers, or build profiles of visitors.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time, and clearing your browser’s cookies removes everything stored on your device. To have your account record deleted, or for access to or deletion of purchase-related data, contact us; we will handle purchases together with Gumroad.
